Din Tai Fung Restaurant in Pavilion KL

In 1970, Bingyi Yang, the founder of Din Tai Fung started his business selling cooking oil in a small shop. The name Din Tai Fung was a combination of two other shop names. One was Din Mei Oils where Yang bought his oil from. The other was Heng Tai Fung, a shop where Yang began working in when he first arrived from China. Business was good until canned salad oil was introduced to the public, and shops like Din Tai Fung became obsolete. Click source for more information about the story of this restaurant (SOURCE)

Din Tai Fung Restaurant is located at 168 Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur inside Pavillion Shopping Mall Lot 6.01.05, Level 6. Tel: 03-2148 8292. Business Hour : 10am-10pm.

Been to this restaurant few months ago with my family. We were feeling hungry that time and craved for some famous signature dishes they serve like Xiao Long Bao, Dumplings, Fried Rice and Noodles. As you can see the photos above we ordered are some of the few famous foods they have.

The service was just ok for me. The place was full when we got there and all the crew working there were multi- tasking.  They would pick up each of the plates that were empty or finish on our table, Which is good actually since they have a long queue outside so they were trying to clean up the tables one at a time as they can. But some times I can’t enjoy my food when I know that there are people waiting for my plate/s. It feels like not enjoyable at all eating when some one is looking. Also we ordered a a plate of side veggie which we cancelled because it was too late then before they can serve it to us, we were already done with most of the foods and full at the same time. Some how maybe they overlook the order so we just cancelled it instead. Checking the foods you ordered is a must!

The foods are nice & yummy. But it didn’t hit my tastebuds that much and that is only base on my opinion and my husbands thinks the same way too. It is nice and filling, presentable and I love that I can see how they make them too with their see-through kitchen! Though I felt that it need some additional spice to it to satisfy my cravings hehe =P Or maybe xiaolong bao’s and dumplings should really taste as how the way they do it Since it is a famous Restaurant. Remember I don’t eat dumplings or xiaolong bao’s like most of the people who usually have it everyday so that is only my opinion. I have to soak them to a chilli sauce and they tasted perfect for me, my sister & my husband too. The fried rice & spring roll are both really good! =)

The place is very clean and well organise. They even have this cute side little basket to put your stuffs/bags in it so you can eat properly without putting it on your lap or on the floor! Now that’s amazing! The place is family friendly and good for all ages! Even when you are doing business this is a very nice place to sit with your business partner or to celebrate something or to catch up with your friends. The ambiance is just perfect specially if you will get the seat on the corner parts. I would probably go back here to try it some more. Will recommend to my friends if ever. Till next time! x0~

Hello everyone! Another outfit post for today! I thought I am not gonna make it today as our internet at home was suddenly gone yesterday. It is so freakin’ horrible when there is no internet and you have to do a lot of things haha. Now I am flooded with all my web work.

Totally love this Little White Dress. It is spandex, very stretchable and it feels good to wear on a hot day here in Malaysia. As you notice my picture above, I am wearing 2 different shoes as you know the Girl can’t decide and I guess I am the worst girl that can’t decide about fashion stuffs in a snap. Just Can’t! Most of the time When I do shopping, I have to buy two things just because I can’t decide which one I like best hahaha Hilarious yeah.. =D

Today I will start going to the Gym “again” Because I am feeling not so good about myself anymore. I wanna FEEL good Which is very important. Back when I was doing gym and run everyday, I feel so active, no headaches, no backaches, no anything. But then I got lazy because of you know, holidays hahaha Then that’s the time when I feel all this crazy things in my body. So Who’s with me? I gotta start running this week first, then next week I will start to lifts weight again. and Of course! Sauna after! Love Sauna! LOL 😉

This is a super late post as usual but then if you’re following me through my FB PageTwitter and Instagram (click to follow me) I’m sure all of you are updated to what’s up here in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. So this was a fun Bazaar because my whole family was with me that time as the place  Lanai Matic is just in-front of the condo where we staying and because of these two gorgeous girls I am with on the last photo! (Last 2 Photos grabbed from sizzlingsuzai Thanks babe!)

I guess this is the first ever bazaar I’ve been to since we moved here in Malaysia or maybe I have been to others but cannot recall anymore. My sister and I bought a lot of accessories 3 for 10! plus they are not those plastic ones so I guess it was a steal! I wanted to go back on the second day of the Bazaar but didn’t managed to as I wanted to buy some flat shoes worth at-least mininum of 10RM.

I say this Bazaar was fun though I found some clothes weren’t so bargain at all. Prizes still at least 40RM plus which I am expecting to see more 10RM ones hehe like what I see in Berjaya Times Square. I’ve seen some stalls who sell 10RM-5RM but the clothes were just place in a basket or something like that. I guess more people will be interested to look for those clothes if they were placed properly with hangers it would’ve been so much easier for the buyer and it will look more presentable than just been thrown in the basket. Just my opinion tho.

All in all the 360 Bazaar Kuala Lumpur was a hit event for me! The place was balanced with all the quirky, fashionable, rockstar and everything you can think of! Specially a lot of food variety to choose from! Thumbs Up for that! Good Job to all who organised this event! Looking forward to much more Bazaars here in KL Malaysia! Hope you enjoyed the photos! Have a nice day all!

Hello loves! Is this the first time you have seen me wearing a dress as my outfit post? Yes you are right! At first I was so nervous as I don’t really wear dress unless I am going club hopping with friends haha. Well I guess I need to wear something different from time to time So I won’t get you guys so bored looking at my photos wearing jeans like forever hehe.

Anyways, As you notice the dress is a bit lose or big for me. I thought I needed to put a skinny belt or something else but then the shoulder length is still a bit lose so I just let it go and let it be as it is. I hope it looks good though as I am pretty sure of my self that it looks good to me in person hahaha I actually wore it for like an hour walking around the house after I took all my outfit photos hehe =)

                    PLEASE HELP ME! 😉

Another thing, I hope you guys can help me get lots of Votes, I mean lots of lots of Votes to a contest I joined the other day! We went to Berjaya Times Square and had our late lunch/early Dinner at PaPa John’s I think? I can’t remember the name of the place but I think I am kinda right haha. Had some pizza, chickens, and some other stuffs. We stayed there for like an hour or two Lol which we always do and what we did when we first met Mai Flores of Budgetbiyahera as well. We are always on a starbucks/tambay mode which ever place we decided to dine. Oh! It was very nice to meet Mai and Le Bf Rubel. We had a non-stop laughing moments the first time.

Anyways, Thanks to PlateCulture who shared their wonderful homemade happiness and to Sir George of CFAP who gave us some great tips on how to travel light which I needed to remember. The travel bag he showed us was so cool. My family only travel light when we go to Singapore for at-least 3 days. We all have each bag packs to carry riding a coach bus MY-SG – MY.

It was a wonderful half-day for all of us meeting all of this interesting travel bloggers. Nice to meet Miss Reda Stare as well Co-Founder of Plateculture. Make sure to visit their site plateculture.com. It is such a great website to meet other people. Go into their house, explore different cuisine & eat, talk and make new Friends here in Malaysia and other countries too! Hope they’ll have plate culture as well in Philippines one day.

Pls. do watch this quick video to see us in action at the 2nd Malaysian Travel Meet up! Subs&likes!
