To be honest, I was at JBR Beach with my friends and we enjoyed swimming, the sea water and catching up so much! We almost forgot I had a food review haha. I made an alarm using my phone but I won’t hear it because I’m swimming hehe. But don’t you worry guys! We made it to the food review! Woohoo!
Moving on, We drove to the food review in JLT at Wokbox.ae and greeted everyone and checked out their amazing menu! I love how simplified their menu is and not that complicated compared to the others that I’ve been to. The staff were very nice and very accommodating which I really love. It’s always a nice experience for sure when the staff in the restaurant are all enjoying their job and make their guests feel at home.
So we got our orders and while we’re waiting I checked out the place. They have this really cute and cozy outdoor seating area if you feel like eating outside while enjoying the view. We were there last night which is already summer time in Dubai and yet the good breeze feels good while we’re eating and chilling outside. Indoor area is available if you want to enjoy the air conditioned seating. I also love the fact that I can see them cooking my food orders through the glass of their open kitchen! The fire and the chef is on point! I wish I could cook and look like a bad-ass like that too haha But I’m lowkey so I’ll leave it to the master chefs instead hehe The smell of the food is just amazing and I’ve never been more hungry while waiting haha.
So the food is cooked! And we are ready to eat. One of the staff served all our food and of course it’s all in a box! Duh! That’s why wokbox.ae hello! The food smells so good while we’re checking them out and opening them one by one. The serving of each box is big and very generous! We can’t even finish halfway through it! So we ended up bringing it home to take away.

STARTERS: Kunafa Tempura 6pcs – Dynamite Shrimp 7pcs. – Shumai Shrimp 6pcs
MAINS: Korean in Jasmine Rice with Beef – Mixed Veg in Jasmine Rice with Tofu – Jakarta in Udon Noodles with Calamari.
DESSERTS: Mango sticky rice, Strawberry Mochi, Coconut Mochi.
DRINKS: 2 coca cola, 1 sprite

Let’s talk about food! As I said, the servings of the food are big and generous. Menu is very simple and not complicated. Starters are really good. We definitely enjoyed all of it. Tempura are really big prawns and super crunchy! Dynamite Shrimp is one of the best I’ve tried so far! Shumai is of course tasty. For the Mains, I haven’t tried my friend’s order, but they got the mixed veg and korean and both of them super love it! I had the jakarta with udon noodles and calamari and definitely loved it! The amount of calamari and big size is amazing and the veggies in it are quite a lot! Which is impressive, we all want the best food for sure! Desserts are of course surprisingly amazing, Nothing too fancy or different but expect to enjoy every bite of your mango sticky rice and mochi too!
We were sitting outside and chilling and enjoying the outdoor seating area of wokbox.ae that we even stayed for a while for more good ole’ catchup. Just a nice place to bring your friends and family or even co-workers. I definitely recommend it and it will be my go-to place from now on. Thanks for having us and for the nice experience Wokbox.ae!
