Things to do in Nuvali + Tagaytay Philippines Vlog

Tagaytay is one of the places you don’t wanna miss when visiting the Philippines especially if you are staying in Manila or nearby. It is only a 1hour 30minutes to 2hour drive from anywhere you are in Manila depends on the traffic of course. Tagaytay is for everyone. From Family, Friends, Work/Colleagues, even a drive by yourself to unwind and relax for a day or two on the weekend away from the busy life in the city.

My advice before you come and visit in Tagaytay is to know the weather most importantly. It can get quite bad during the rainy season or when there is typhoon like when we came for a road trip that day. There was a typhoon but we wasted no time and drive anyway. It was so cloudy! We can’t even see the Taal Volcano or even the road we were driving on the way.

Sky Ranch is nearby if you’re visiting Tagaytay! Admission is 80pesos on weekdays & 100pesos on weekends. Carnival Ride tickets are sold separately. See more information at the end of this blog post. This place was on our list but the weather sucks that time, we went and drove there just to get a glimpse of it even though it was so dark and the whole place was foggy. I guess I can say that we’ve been there after all hehe ?
But totally looking forward to coming back and Ride that Famous Ferris Wheel!

We went to Picnic Grove too and had lunch there, I was surprised that We have to pay 70pesos/person + parking but I forgot how much we pay for it. As I said it was a bad weather that day so we didn’t get to see the Taal Volcano. Also, everything inside, you have to pay for it, The mini zoo, zip line, horse back riding, The Table, Picnic huts, even a photo with the horses cost something well unless you paid for the horse back riding haha then it will be free. Since it started raining, We decided to have lunch in Alamat restaurant. In fact, it rained so hard! That was exciting for me haha since we never get to see that much rain back here in Dubai. Back to the Restaurant, The resto was clean and helpful staff. The food was great. We had a platter above with seafood that we didn’t finish + rice and

People’s Park in the Sky entrance fee is 30pesos/person + the car parking is 20pesos. Souvenir shops are available and some snacks. We hiked up the Peoples Park in the Sky, Jeep is available but not necessary at all. It was a Mansion at the top made by the Marcos that didn’t get to finish and turned into a park where you can see the whole Tagaytay skyline. Food is available at the Top of the Park too! I totally missed the guy selling the strawberry taho! ? Now I’m craving for one!

Nuvali Sta.Rosa Laguna is a big land with houses, Solenad malls and lots of activities for any age. From our house, it only takes 10-15minutes to go there without traffic via SLEX then Green Parkway – Eton City Exit. It was all our first time to visit there. It is a like a dream family or friends tambayan or weekend place to go to with family and friends. Koi Fish Feeding is available for 20/packet fish food as you can see in the photo above. But you don’t need fish food, as you can see the Koi Fishes anywhere around the Lake and take photos of them or with them for FREE.

Solenad 1,2,3 are places where you can find food and shopping. We stumbled upon this Vietnamese restaurant and my family hasn’t tried that before so my husband and I decided to have our lunch there. I will be posting a different review blog post about it, So make sure that you follow my blog or social media. It was a lovely lunch, the food tastes good and authentic. The staff was very attentive and helpful and fast despite having a full house that time.

After our lunch, we head on to find and rent the Bike for an hour. It was 70pesos/bike (I think) for the rental of 1hour. Keep in mind that it is only strictly for 1 person per 1 bike (bawal ang angkas even if it is kids) You can bring your Own Bike especially for small kids who don’t know how to ride a bike because They do not have a Bike with Training Wheels for Small Kids unless they know how to drive a bike on their own Small Bikes are available.

In my experience, We did a 3-4/Laps for an hour with some stop overs along the way for some photo opps. Of course, it all depends on how slow or fast you’ll bike around the Lake. The guys who are looking after the bikes were so nice too that they even told me that we can still go for at least 1-2 laps even though our time was up already. It wasn’t busy that day so I guess we can take our time hehe. 1 Bike Lap will take around 10-15minutes.

Around the lake, you can ride the jet/speed boat and have a cruise which is good for a group of people. After the activities, You can setup your picnic mat and find a perfect spot to sit and relax. Entrance in Nuvali is FREE. You can bring your whole friends and family there, with all the things you need for a picnic. A Picnic mat, Food, Music, badminton or volleyball for some activities to enjoy. Just be careful with your things as there are lots of random people walking around and passing by and you’ll never know what could happen next so be aware of that.

After the 1hour bike ride and a little bit of rest, we decided to cool off and have some ice cream in Cold Stone. Always a winner! ? After the ice cream, We went home and had a Nap #becauseNAP haha ?
