Hi everyone! Another blog post for this week! Some life updates for today, So if you don’t know yet I am back in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for good and so far enjoying the weather! Dubai is like an oven during summer so I’m happy and definitely missing the rain!!! It’s been raining since we arrived and enjoying it so much!
What I do miss in Dubai is having the grocery shop and department store just in the same building where I live. I don’t need to go anywhere else but just go down to the parking and get inside another elevator to the store. Now in Malaysia we have to drive once a week to do our grocery shopping. I don’t even drive so my husband drives haha I do want to do the grocery myself as it is therapeutic for me where I’m enjoying choosing things and reading ingredients and checking out other things, meanwhile shopping with my husband is super rush. I’m still working on it and thinking how and where to do the grocery myself haha coz every grocery is so far away atleast I need to drive.
Take note I live in KLCC hahaha I do love to do grocery somehow because My daughter and my husband comes with me and we do it together like a family going out routine haha everyone gets to pick up whatever is on their list to buy for the week hehe
NSK Grocer is good in a way that it’s quite near to my house and I can buy things in bulk and big boxes. I can buy 1 box of pasta, a box of juice, a box of something else which is nice. Fresh produce and seafood as well is available. My problem is there are some things like more western stuff that I can’ find here. So sometimes I can’t have and buy some of the things I need for the recipe for the week because they don’t have it. Other than that, NSK Grocer is a really good place and our go-to Grocery place to shop.
