Another food place that we tried when we were at Johor Bahru is the H gourmet restaurant which offers healthy food and an amazing place by the way! Love the interior and the colour palette of the H Gourmet restaurant in Johor Bahru, but I’ve touched few plants and they were fake plants🤷🏻♀️ Just thought living in Malaysia, the abundance of plants and growing it inside or outside of any place is possible, but I guess not. Another thing is, as a healthy restaurant… You would definitely think that Real plants would be everywhere instead of the fakes. I’m not mad haha Just saying…
The Staff are very nice! And smells good too haha Well, at least one of the waitresses smelled really nice when she was getting our orders, Like we all reacted and even asked her and she said she’s using downy haha for real she smells good! Location wise, You need a taxi or car to come to the place. Very easy to find. Moving on… we ordered and waited as we were definitely hungry. The orders didn’t take long to arrive and served us quickly which is a plus point.
I ordered the Smoked duck Hiyashi Ramen which I only recently found out that Hiyashi Ramen means Cold Ramen haha and I wanted the hot Ramen but nonetheless, it was OK. They don’t have duck, so I got chicken instead. Both of my friends ordered Chicken Bulgogi and guessed it tasted good. But the chef soup of the day definitely needs improvement as the serving is so disappointing. Never had a serving of soup like that in my entire life and it was a memorable one. We even planned to share it together but it’s not enough for even 1 person, it’s a thumbs down. Take note that we did ask about the servings to the waiter and the waiter assured us that the serving of the soup is like that. Overall, the H gourmet restaurant in Eko Botani Johor Bahru is a good place to visit and try. I would not recommend the Chef Soup of the day though if you are very hungry as the servings won’t even reach your belly. Might as well spend it for something else. Yes! I’m very specific to the soup because I, myself, would have soup as my main meal usually during dinner and this soup serving is a NO for me. But the other food we ordered was good and so was the servings. Still recommend to try and come of course. and hope you will enjoy your time there as well. Till next time! x0- Jane
