Gonu Bar and Grill (Restaurant) located in Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in Fujairah is a very nice stopover if you’re on a road trip to Dubai. This is my second time here with my Family or maybe 3rd? mmm…. I’ve lost count and memory haha Felt like I’ve been in this place much time before hehe. Well, if you want to just relax with family and friends I recommended this!
(Below Pic) Scallops 75aed melts in your mouth, worth to order if you happen to come by. The serving is, as you can see very small and can only feed 1 person and still be hungry, haha You’ve been warned that this is not meant for sharing with everyone but if you’ll want to share then go ahead, 4 people? 1 scallop each. 2 people = 2 each, 3 people? No idea haha
(Below Pic) Mahi – Mahi 85aed is a hit for my family! We always order this whenever we come and visit the place. It is also known as dolphin fish and yes you can google it! This dish is very light and good for sharing at least 1 each per person and eat it with other side dishes available in their menu.
Jumbo Prawns 190aed the very first photo above is another hit. A must order in Gonu! You won’t be able to resist to have and eat it right away after serving it on your table. The smell of it and the big meat looking right back at you is just a big temptation you can’t say NO to it.
The 2kids had normal chicken nuggets with fries and sauce on the side. While 3 of us adults shared the 3 dishes I have showed you above which is just the right amount for a light lunch and had them with sharing mashed potatoes for 25aed.
The place is really good! If you like having your lunch, dinner or snack with a good view, I mean the beach, sound of the waves, and sand then this is the place for you to have some food if you’re in Fujairah. The price of the food is just worth it!
