It’s been a long time since I did a food review here in my blog. Today I wanted to share my experience having some Five Guys burger lovin’ in Dubai Mall. Occasionally, I try to meet up with the friends I met during events here in Dubai and some other places where I would usually be. Sad to know, yeah, But I don’t really go out that much here in Dubai compared to when I was in Malaysia where events are endless.
Moving on, I Met up with my friend Suwein, whom I met in EDI during our driving school days, sharing our experiences on how to even pass the tests haha it was a relief when you can find someone to talk to on those grave and stressful days. Together with my sister, We all met up for lunch and finally decided to eat at Five Guys in Dubai Mall.
Five Guys Burgers and Fries is an American fast casual restaurant chain focused on hamburgers, hot dogs, and French fries, and headquartered in Lorton, Virginia, an unincorporated part of Fairfax County. I’ve been seeing lots of people raving about it in Instagram and thought that I should check it out. Love the Menu simplicity. Thought that the servings are big as how they say, “American size” I Had to choose between “Hamburger/Cheeseburger” or “SMALL Hamburger/cheeseburger”
As size always does matter, knowing that it is American burger chain and seeing the other orders taken out, I decided that the normal size will be too much for me, so we opted for SMALL sizes of burgers which were a terrific idea at that time. Not trying to say anything BAD about the word American Size, but we all have those times that we can’t eat something with a big portion and the only way to explain it, is like that. Either, you can say an ASIAN portion of rice and that means for me, unlimited rice servings or a bucket of rice please hahaha ? Don’t want to be complicated but just trying to explain for those people who will read it and take it as a Bad example or won’t get what am I trying to explain here.
Location of the place is wonderful! You can see the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain while having your burger and fries. We went there around winter and the weather was perfect and quite chilly for me. Don’t think you’ll enjoy eating there during summer haha But you get the Idea, location wise it is good.
The verdict is: location is amazing! food serving size is perfect and taste good although, if you eat too slow like I do, the bread at the bottom will be too mushy so better eat up quick to enjoy it. the menu is very easy to navigate as it only has few choices to choose from which is sometimes really good for easiness. Hello? they have free unlimited peanuts! The milkshake was too sweet for me and for my sister but the thickness is just right. Price is Fair if you combine location, servings of food & Simple Menu and Fast Service. You can refill your Drinks! and all toppings are free! ah! life! ??
