Boodle Fight The Daily at Rove Trade Center Dubai – It’s been a while since I’ve seen the girls! I had to cancel our last meetup because I was drunk. So drained and weak that day so I had to, then I had to fly to new york and boston and after that week, Finally see the girls and celebrated @moreforles.me birthday early while we are complete as @budgetbiyahera is flying to The Philippines that same night.
@moreforles.me booked a table for us at The daily at Rove in Rove Hotel Trade Center 6pm for our meetup dinner! It’s been like a tradition for us to meetup at least once a month altogether because we are all busy girls. Although we do see one another when time permits or we have some things that we need to do without having to bring or meet everyone else haha But you know as they say, Even if we don’t see each other for weeks or months, we still feel we’re both there for each other and when we meet up like there’s like so much fun and more gossip or chitchats happening! Yep! Are you feeling sex and the city right there? Haha well I do!

Moving on to the dinner meetup, we had the Famous Boodle fight. I saw The daily at Rove facebook advertisement and thought it would be a nice location for me and the girls to meetup since we love filipino food and especially boodle fight. Looking at The menu Grilled Chicken and Seafood Boodle Fight we thought it was ok and looks exciting! It is 99aed for 2persons with the soup, drinks and unlimited rice! Because Rice is life! LOL
Getting comfortable at The daily at Rove – Rove Hotel Trade Center, Sippin’ our ice tea and chichatting because we had a lot to catch up of course! Our Boodle Fight Ordered Arrive on the table with two huge separate orders since we are 4 girls, we ordered two(2) and it looks so huge! So excited to dig in, prepared our hands with plastic gloves for eating and we’re ready to go and eat! Take note that my last meal was the night before, on that same morning I had 2 cups of black coffee, a mug of hot and sour soup and a soymilk, banana smoothie and that was all I had before that big dinner boodle fight!
Of course being me so hungry haha, Well, to be honest I wasn’t hungry at all that time, not until I started putting food in my mouth and tasting those bursting flavors inside my mouth! I might be probably bias haha because all food taste delicious when you are hungry, am I right? Well, the girls with me agreed as well! The Servings for 2 people are big or enough if you’re a big eater. The meat of prawns, mussels, fried fish, chicken, squid, kebab, crabs, calamares, are big! I don’t even feel disappointed haha My belly was very happy. It also comes with big servings of Rice that I almost demolished myself haha thanks @moreforles.me for helping although I admit that I did ate most of the rice because Rice is life! LOL also some hard boiled eggs, pineapple and cucumber slices, vinegar and soy for dipping on the side and chopped mangoes, onions etc like a salad on a small bowl.
The boodle fight was definitely delicious! That sweet sauce on the prawns and chicken tastes really good and it compliments the seafood. Love the size of the prawns because they were legit big ones. All were well cooked! Favorite is the prawns and the mussels! I would go back for it definitely recommended for everyone! Worth the 99aed + the service and the staff were really nice and ready to follow one of our many requests just to make their customers very happy while dining on their restaurant. Although, one thing I can suggest for them is to provide a bowl of water or wet wipes for the customers to wipe their hands and wash the smell of the food that sticks to it after using our hands from eating boodle fight. Overall the whole place is amazing! There’s few more group of people who were also their for the boodle fight so if you are curious and wanna try, please do and make a reservation. PS: Leslie paid the boodle fight and this is not a blogger/instagrammer review, although, if The Daily At Rove is reading this, We would like to come back and try some other food on the menu or even your lovely coffee if you guys would wanna invite us for a blogger/instagrammer coverage (shameless plug LOL) #sorrynotsorry =D

Another one I’d like to highlight was the Carrot Cake! I totally love it! So before our bday girl Leslie arrive, we managed to reserve and buy 2 slices of cake, one is the chocolate and the other is the carrot cake which was the bomb! Can’t really remember how much I paid for the two slices as I paid it using the credit card and didn’t have a chance to see the receipt haha maybe I lost it somewhere haha Thank God! It was yummy hehe Also really love the atmosphere in the restaurant, the plants inside makes it feel more airy and fresh and relaxing.
