How about a Bar and Lounge for today’s blog post? Sounds nice right? Last Saturday April 06, 2019 I had the chance to visit BFF Gastro Bar and Lounge Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel. I’ve been wanting to visit this side of Dubai for so long and finally it happened with good opportunity like this one for me to enjoy.

LOCATION: Located just next to Ibn Battuta Mall just on the same entrance of Movenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel. Very convenient place to enjoy with the whole family even if you have kids or younger ones with you after doing a full day walking and shopping in Ibn Battuta Mall you can just walk towards the Movenpick Hotel side then just cross the road and you’ll see it right away! BUS is also conveniently located there. From DMCC metro (former jlt metro) you can walk towards the Bus pickup that will bring you to Ibn Battuta Mall then you can just walk toward the Movenpick hotel and you’ll see the BFF Gastro Bar and Lounge Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel.
AMBIENCE: I cannot say enough good things about this place. It definitely solves the parents problem or anyone with younger people with them of not going out at night because of the kids. BFF Gastro Bar and Lounge Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel is huge! They have outside area, family friendly, Pool/billiards are available! Kids Playroom is amazing! You can definitely leave them there and both enjoy the night! There is also a live band around 8-9pm and I totally love it! This place is also perfect for really big groups of people, or if meetup with friends or just a date night, sure there is a perfect seating area for everyone to enjoy the night. For parents or with younger kids, You can just Go home and you’re kids will surely be too tired to keep up and they will go straight to bed! Sounds like a very good idea don’t you think so? Haha
STAFF/SERVICE: Staff were fast and very Friendly! We were personally served by this nice guy, his name is Munya! Really good guy and great service! Love how the staff are smiling and check on you which is really good. I always love seeing people who smile back at you because you’ll agree that it feels good and it gives me the idea that they are ok with the job that they are doing. Also they are patient with me as I asked many times about the special menu for the night and because they don’t have the list, only memorise so they have to say it few times to me and happy that they are very patient with customers. Good Job everyone!
FOOD: For the special menu that night, we had bought the STARTERS: Caesar and Quinoa Salad. Sure everyone loves Caesar Salad but in the past I never liked the Quinoa salad at all but this time I am liking the taste of The Quinoa Salad that they served us Definitely something on how they cooked it. For the MAINS: we had Ribs with potatoes and Chicken Sliders with fries. Definitely great choice for us that night! The sliders were kind of like medium size buns compared to normal sliders size with a good chunk of chicken meat in there. The ribs just melt in my mouth! It was amazing! Kudos the Chefs and everyone in the kitchen =)
VERDICT: Overall this place is just amazing! Now parents or anyone with younger or baby kids can’t have any excuses because this place is all prepared to entertain your kids! Even if you’re coming with big group to celebrate something, there is sure plenty of space and ideal seating for everyone. Food is amazing! Now I need to practise cooking my quinoa salad or for sure gonna go back at BFF Gastro Bar and Lounge Movenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel for that! Also don’t forget the sliders and Ribs! We also had 3-drinks each! I had 1-sparkling wine and 2-white wine to relax myself. Also the best is the staff service! Location is also convenient! So what are you waiting for?
