Being in this quarantine for some weeks now doesn’t need to be lonely. So I thought that I should share this event that I attended before all the events got cancelled because we need to stay home and stay safe. It was a super fun and full of energy kind of event. I arrived at the event and it was all quiet. I guess I’m always early. The traffic was really bad that night especially that road going to blue water caesars palace where the Event was held at Cove Beach Dubai.
This was my second event that same day. I obviously read the email many times and it didn’t say that there’s a dress code. I was just imagining it again and again because the look of the invitation and the brand and the products for that event was telling me that I should wear something fancy, glam, definitely something glittery or sequined outfit, way nicer to what I’m already wearing. But still, I don’t wanna change my outfit because I am riding the metro and my destination is on the other side of Dubai so it was a long way for me and wearing something glam is not for that night. So I went anyway to what I’m already wearing. Confidence is the key! =D Wear your outfit with full confidence however it may look, rather than wearing a really nice outfit but ending up like the outfit is walking or wearing you. Everybody will notice your outfit but nobody notices you! Get me?
Moving on, I went inside the place of the event, walked around the place, doing my usual event routine. Take photos and videos for the blog and for the gram. Said hi, hello to my fellow instagrammers, bloggers and good friends. At the event, they have some activities for everyone, there’s a caricature guy, a booth to take your videos or photos with a really nice bath and body works arabia into the night motiff. There’s also like a mini shopping booth where you can smell and try out all of the new bath and body works arabia into the night products. It smells lavish, romantic and perfect for that night. On the other side of the place, there’s a long queue to make your own bath and body works arabia into the night flower bouquet that you can take home, nice flowers and gold painted leaves. Beside it, another long queue to personalise your own bath and body works arabia into the night spray mini perfume. I got one for myself and left.
After all of those activities, I was thirsty and obviously hungry so I went to the bar and got myself a drink and some few finger foods while talking with a friend. We then moved somewhere else and found a cabana where we talk and chill, eat and drink and watch the lady in front of us applying glitters on their body and faces. Can’t even imagine how they gonna take that off but it wasn’t my problem anymore. Then the Layla Kardan came out singing all these good vibes songs that my friend and I can’t stop ourselves to sing along and dance as well until everyone at the event started dancing with us too! Did we just start the real party? Call us party Queens then =D After all that dancing, singing, eating and drinking, it was time to finally go home. It was around 10pm. We said goodbye to everyone and the amazing @tishtashtalks PR gave us this huge and super heavy paper bag full of new bath and body works arabia into the night products to bring home and enjoy. Imagine me dragging all of that, riding an uber to the metro and walking home. I survived and I’m alive.
