Finally a Travel Blog post before the year 2019 ends! As you guys already know, I’ve been to Amsterdam, The Netherlands and attended the Amsterdam Modest Fashion Week as an influencer from Dubai, Uae CLICK ME if you wanna read it and watch my vlog about it =) This is a very unexpected trip for us! My family originally planned to visit Prague for December but I got this invite from the @modestfashionweeks so then we went for it. I mean this is a huge opportunity for my blogging career hehe and to think meeting everyone there just excites me so We went to Amsterdam and here’s my story…
First things first is, I have a Philippines Passport and getting a Visa is always terrifying haha Applying our visa for The Netherlands was very last minute and noticed how strict their requirements compared to USA hehe also we were scared because we didn’t really have much time to wait if it gets late as it says on their website, it takes minimum 15 days and I counted exactly the visa will arrive 2-3days before we fly and so glad it came early haha God and Good karma is always with us =D Applied our Visa at VFS Wafi Mall.
We booked our flight via Pegasus connecting flight to Turkey then Amsterdam. Pegasus is definitely recommended, our flights went all smoothly and on time and I just want to say how nice their flight attendants are compared to the famous one here in Dubai which I had some bad experiences on my previous flights hehe Not generalising but some are just not nice from this airline. Thanks Pegasus! Amazing service!

So we arrived in Amsterdam Schipol Airport and walked so far from where the airplane parked to the Arrival and we’re freezing because we didn’t carry our jackets with us haha So don’t make the same mistakes =D It is already freezing when we connected from Turkey so just carry the darn jacket because it is freezing haha Unless you want to do Cryo for free haha then do it!
So arrived at the airport, picked up our luggages, bought our simcard at the train station, bought train tickets, ride the train, walked on the way to our Hotel and finally had a rest since we haven’t slept for 24 hours I think haha we were all tired and just cannot do anything but sleep. When we arrive from our hotel we slept and just walked around and bought some water and other things from the grocery on our first night.
Amsterdam is Beautiful. I attended my Amsterdam Modest Fashion Week for 2 days. They didn’t start until after lunch so in the morning of those 2days my family are walking around and exploring the place and Explored more of it during the days that I am free and no events. We took so many photos and videos and so much love it! Definitely going back maybe when it is spring because I would love to see those amazing tulips everywhere!

Just to add that, most of these places are just next to each other like the number one place you can go to pretty much check most of your “Things to do in Amsterdam” is going to Dam Square. When you’re there, you’ll see the National Monument, Madame Tussauds, Ripleys believe it or not, The Royal Palace, AmsterdamCentral Station, Dam Rak The Instagram Spot, The Herring Fish restaurant, and walk some others you’ll discover and realize that Amsterdam is such a picture perfect place anywhere you go is just instagrammable and picturesque.
I can definitely add so many in this list but I definitely need to sort out hundreds of photos and videos I got! Thanks to my ever supporting husband for taking these lots of photos and videos for me. Now I can’t wait to show all of it to you guys over my instagram account.
