The weekend was abuzz with activity at KLCC when two new lifestyle brands, PIQUADRO and Naquirkee were introduced for the first time to fashion enthusiasts in KL. Both stores opened side-by-side presenting an array of swoon-worthy shoes, bags and fashion accessories for men and women.
Made possible by Bud & Naq Group, a specialty retailer and distributor set up with a mission to bring world-class, quality lifestyle brands at affordable prices to the Malaysian market. The Bud & Naq Group entered the local market in 2007 with the introduction of the Florsheim brand – an American shoe brand. Since then it has included Amtek Safety (safety shoes) and multi-label store Naquirkee for quality foreign labels in woman’s shoes, bags and accessories, and PIQUADRO for innovative and elegant business bags and accessories from Italy.
Naquirkee is a multi-label concept store carrying a myriad of global brands of women’s shoes, bags and accessories. Quirky, by name and character, Naquirkee epitomises a classy yet playful image and lifestyle fit for the modern, urban woman. Fashion products at Naquirkee have been specially handpicked to reflect the brand’s quirky DNA. Even Naquirkee’s logo connotes the alphabet ‘Q’ to capture this very trait.
The Naquirkee brand itself is an array of stylish accessories, from bangles and bracelets to chains and clutches designed in-house. Fashioned from genuine stingray leather and buffalo horns, this range features classic yet fun and quirky designs that are undoubtedly statement pieces.
Italy’s Zona Centro brand of shoes was the first to come onboard the Naquirkee label, setting the precedence for other equally exciting and innovative brands. Others under the Naquirkee label include Alma En Pena and Kanna from Spain, Carrano from Brazil, San Miguel from Mexico, Inuovo from Turkey and Gabs and Braccialini from Italy.
